Cycle Tour

Our Victoria Falls Cycle showcases the sights and sounds of Victoria Falls, one of the seven wonders of the world and the historic and colonial Victoria Falls Hotel. Cycle the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, encounter Africa’s wildlife, enjoy stunning views of the rainbow-covered falls to top it all.

After meeting your Trip Guide at the Adventure Zone offices, the adventure begins and we make our way up into Chinotimba Township, where we get a sense of local customs and culture. We wander through the bustling market as our guide points out the different fruit and vegetables, and we visit a local church, clinic and school, seeing a side of Victoria Falls that is not on most tourist itineraries. For many a guest, this is a highlight.

We leave the township and roll downhill out to Zambezi Drive, keeping an eye out for impala, warthog, monkeys, baboons, an abundance of bird life and even the mighty elephant!

We break along the way at a scenic viewpoints, alongside the perennial Zambezi, hardly believing that this seemingly placid and innocuous river will be transformed into a terrifying torrent of water a few kilometres downstream!

We continue onto the Big Tree, a massive and ancient baobab which is over a thousand years old, as our guide explains the unique fauna and flora of the region. from here, towards the Railways Bridge, exiting Zimbabwe temporarily and entering Zambia on a gate pass (no visa required) for a perfect photo opportunity to supplement your photo album. We break here to appreciate the transcendental beauty of the Falls and marvel at the rainbow that stretches across the foaming torrent of water – the perfect place to capture the moment on camera! We return to Zimbabwe and cycle along the private pathway back through the Victoria Falls Hotel/ the Adventure Zone office – there really is no better way to experience the majestic Falls!

Ad­ven­ture Zone Re­quire­ments

• Minimum of 2 pax and maximum of 13 pax
• There is no age restriction, however younger children may not be able to ride due to the size of the bike.
• Operates 365 days of the year.
• Sunrise cycle-departs 7am, returning at around 9:30 am and includes drinks and snacks.

Sunset cycle-departs at 3pm, returning at around 17:30pm and includes drinks and snacks.

These times are flexible and we can arrange a time that suits your schedule. Tours will begin at either the Victoria Falls Hotel or the Adventure Zone office at Shop 4, Phumula Centre, Livingstone Way
