Fishing Safaris

Half day or full day fishing safaris are done on the Zambezi River throughout the year. The safaris are done in boats that are able to take 2 clients. All safaris have an experienced guide on the trip. The clients are advised to have breakfast at their hotel before the trip as it is not provided. There is no reduction for children, we charge per boat, (2 pax per boat).

Full day safari:

Clients are picked up at 7am and are off the river at 17h00 and then transferred back to their hotel in Vic Falls town. The trip includes the boat hire, fuel for the boat, return transfers from accommodation in Victoria Falls town, an experienced guide who will know all the good fishing spots and assist the clients. Clients will also be provided with fishing equipment and tackle, however, this is basic equipment so if clients are keen anglers they are recommended to bring their own equipment.

Clients are provided with lunch and ice cold drinks during the trip but they mus have breakfast at their hotel prior to pick up.

Park fees are included so clients will not have to pay this direct.

Half Day safari:

Morning: Clients are picked up at 7am and are off the river at 12h00 before being transferred back to the hotel.

Afternoon: Clients are picked up at 13h00 and are off the river at 18h00 before being transferred back to the hotel.

The trip includes boat hire, fuel for the boat, and experienced guide who is knowledgeable of the river and the best fishing areas and can assist clients. Fishing equipment and tackle is included, however, if you are an experienced angler, it is advisable to bring your own equipment. Drinks and snacks are also included as well as National Park fees. You will be picked up and dropped off from accommodation in Victoria Falls.

Full Day Overnight Chalet:

The same applies as the full day fishing, you will finish fishing when the sun goes down and we will make our way back up to your accommodation for your supper. The next morning for the serious fisherman we can fish early until approximately 08:30am then have breakfast, pack up and head back to Victoria Falls . We should be back in Vic Falls between 12:00 and 12:30pm. We are also offering longer trips on request. The longer trips will be almost exactly the same as the trips mentioned above.

Minimum/Maximum Numbers:

Min number of clients: 1 client (Charged for a 2 man boat)
Max number of clients: 25 clients (some of which will have 3 pax per boat.)

Things to bring for day trip clients:

Camera, hat/cap and sunscreen.

For overnight clients please make sure you bring the following:

1. Insect Repellant.
2. Sunscreen.
3. Toiletries.
4. Change of clothing.
5. Jersey or jacket.
6. Hat (round brimmed for full protection)

We provide a selection of spinners, spinner bait, rapalas, hooks trace rods, etc.
